The packaging retains the classic Ghirardelli style, creating a distinctive look in the skin care market.

I wanted present this Napa Valley Natural brand to younger people and let them have the idea about health living so I wanted to make the design more creative but keep the feeling of being organic and healthy.

Create a concept for paper promotion book for Bee! Brilliant Paper by Gmund. The concept is about making people know more about honeycomb architecture. It is in everyone’s best interest to know that the honeycomb structure is a very stable and green solution for architecture. I made the card set and website in a honeycomb shape in order to show the beautiful aspect of this architecture.

Use the existing box structure for a pencil set, but create new graphics for the package. The client is Staedtler. For a long time, the image of this company was about is providing technical engineering writing instruments. However many people may not know that they also provides quality pencils for artists. The goal is to redesign its packaging and make it be more fancy or more energetic to attract artists.
SPEAK YOUR MIND
Redesign a well-known corporate logo identity and develop a new system of stationery. Deliverables include a logo, a business card, an envelope, a letterhead, and identity guidelines. Identity is important to a company, especially to a well-known company or corporation. Papa is a leading developer of social networks. It allows people to upload a mini blog using voice messages. I created a logo of a tonsil to symbolize the “Voice of Blog” for the company.
Create an experimental typographic conference book and schedule book with a selected theme or topic. At the same time, create a poster to promote the conference as well as a kinetic promo video. The conference concept is about future communication trend which introduces the emoticon, type emoji and abbreviation. Sometimes the words may not express all the emotions, so these new ways of communication to help people in expressing themselves.
Redesign a past or current music festival. The music festival I chose was called AFAN Music Festival. It’s an underground rock music festival originally held by Pink Floyd. The uniqueness of this music festival was only new bands can perform on this music festival.
A SECRET GARDEN
Choose an existing company or brand and design a new packaging line for it. Along with a new structure design packaging for it. The goal is to make it modern, sustainable packaging that is easy to recognize the company is. Bigelow which has a wide range of tea products. So much so, they are hard to categorize and they have many different styles of designs. I redesigned the current package to have a strong lock up. The product package became a mixture of clean, organic and modern looks, but still kept the vintage feeling.
SEE SPOT RUN
Create a new house of brands and a of pet product brands. Each brand of these departments need packaging according to its unique selling point, as well as products with higher price points for retail stores. The brand is Fluffy Planet, offering different kinds of cleaning and grooming products for dogs. The brand strategy aims to build trust in the customers’ loyalty, giving them products that fit their needs.
